Big Thank and credit to Benimatic as developer this Twilight Forest 1.5.2 Mod. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. although currently there are some issues with certain areas (hollow hills are kinda rigged, boss arenas will sometimes spawn multiple side by side) the overall effect of this mod creates a whole new atmosphere to the game. it has stunning visuals, great building areas (i love those super big trees), has a great boss mob, loot filled mazes. What else could you want? and another great part is the fact that if you dont want to play it, simply dont make a portal to go! no minecraftia world interference! Twilight Forest 1.5.2 Mod Installations for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1
- Back up your saves!
- Download Minecraft Forge client- Thanks Forge team.
- Download this Twilight Forest 1.5.2 Mod.
- Open up your minecraft.jar and add Forge’s files
- Delete the META-INF
- Place this mod’s zip file in the mods folder of your minecraft folder
- If you need to configure block IDs, use the config/TwilightForest.cfg file. If you have a config file from 1.2.5 or earlier, you need to edit or delete the TwilightForest.cfg or you will have ID conflicts.
Server installation and requirements:
- Back up your world before installing new mods.
- Get a server running using the minecraft_server.jar. If you’re stuck on this step, I can’t help you, use Google.
- Download Minecraft Forge. You usually want the recommended version.
- Download this mod, located above
- Open your minecraft_server.jar and add all the forge server files.
- Start the server at least once to let it generate all the files and directories it needs.

How do you make a portal to the twilight forest?
Dig a hole in the ground that is 1 block deep, 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks long, fill it with 4 water blocks (so the water is “still”), plant mushrooms and/or flowers all around the hole, then you need to sacrifice a diamond by throwing it in the water. Stand back when you do this, because when the portal opens there is a lightning strike that could kill you. The water will be replaced with portal blocks just like a nether portal; jump in the hole to get to the forest.
then die slowly trying to get back. how would one fix that glitch?
put a 2×2 pool of water down and surround it with flowers and grass and other nature things

I’ve done all of this, no lightning, no portal, jut some water with a diamond and flowers and shrooms surrounding it. I’ve seen hundreds of vids, tried all of the previous ways to get there (nether portal holding a mushroom, surround pool with tall grass, ect.) none work. I am using the yogbox however, anyone have a fix for this? This mod looks so exiting!!! I’m sad in no working!
the lightning will strike at twilight so you might have to wait a while trololololo
You have to have it so you have a hole consisting of 4 blocks then throw a diamond in, i did it with flowers. now you dont have have it 2 blocks deep that wont work

If you’re using forge 3.2 you’ll need Twilight Forest 1.10. from the main site, this one won’t work.

hey i have problems with installing forge. the update it does when you start minecraft for the first time after installing forge doesn’t work so would any one be so kind and upload an .minecraft file with the necassary mods installled (i dont mind if there are any extra once
