When I’ve copied the files for the server package into the minecraft_server.jar I get an “Invalid or corrupt jar file minecraft_server.jar” error message on trying to run the server. I tried deleting the manifest file and also the whole META-INF folder but no change.
This is still for minecraft 1.1. Read this which was already written

so are the server files for modloadermp available to put in a bukkit server because i have other mods that require it
Never delete meta-inf if its a server, that is only for client
Don’t put the files in the mnecraft_server.jar. Put them into your server’s minecraft.jar

Modloadermp has a problem with it when I install it and modloader when I open minecraft it gives an error report and instead of 1.1.0 modloader mp it says 1.0 this should be fixed because its really a pain when installing mods that require it.

You need a fresh minecraft.jar not a one which has been modded. I can see you have modloader with the error over here. (the second line)

Do you download both or just one of them?
And do are there two for single player and multilayer or doesn’t it matter?
It depends if you want single player mods the click single player if a server has mods for it then click the other

Did you do it for both the client AND server?
the META-inf folder prevents mods from being installed to minecraft. you need to delete the META-INF in order for the mods to work.

OK, for my question.
I have this running fine on my server… vanilla, not bukkit, but do I need to install modloaderMP on the client machine as well as the server?
When I add this to MAgic Launcher of Minecraft 1.2.5 is says ‘No modloader’ in red. And I already moved it to the top…

what the hell, this stupid thing crashed my minecraft, it said to give this link to anyone i report it to C:\Users\Holtons\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2012-08-10_17.06.11-client.txt but because of this i can never play minecraft because i cant find the files, and ive looked everywere.
look for appdata, then roaming, then .minecraft, then to uninstall the mod just delete bin, then run minecraft (it will generate a vannila bin)
