- Install Minecraft Forge
- First install all mods above, then just put the IndustrialCraft 2-2-v1.106.jar into your ‘mods’-folder located in .minecraft
- Do not unpack your minecraft.jar.
- Do not drop the whole client or the downloaded archive into your minecraft.jar.
- Do not forget to delete the META-INF folder if you didn’t delete it already.

Dosnt work …. did everything step by step completely deleted every minecraft folder and file and re downloaded from the client launcher, that dosnt get more vanilla than that, installed modloader (newest ver) checked, it worked, installed modloadermp (newest ver) checked, it worked,
installed newest forge, checked it worked, downloaded IC2 put the jar file without touching it in any way into my .minecraft>mods folder started minecraft, aaaaaaand crash….

Just do this get modloader modloader mp and forge in that order and test then put id2 in mods
my “mods” folder wont appear. cant find anything wrong but wont work
Create one.
In the “.minecraft” folder, with all those folders like bin and stuff. Just clearing it up.
Also you could just install Modloader, ModloaderMP, then Minecraft Forge (if you didn’t already) , then start up minecraft and close it and the folder will be there. Hope I helped peoples.
it just says faild to load main-class manifest from C:/appdata blah blah locatons im not giving away and it has a big red X in a shield please help
You need to delete META-INF if it says manifest in the error report.
Or, you haven’t installed something.

but i cant find a discription how to install this there.

1.2.5 is out, all is working, server is nice, but however, there’s nothing from 1.2.5, they just updated it, everything is kind of the same, even 1.8.1 IC had way more materials, and those rubys and emeralds and saphires were very usefull, i find minecraft 1.2.5 IC kind of boring.
And there’s too little iron, iron is like base material, each machine takes 8+ iron, while in normal minecraft you need much less iron, and the amount of iron in the ground it the same, should be increased in IC…

i installed everything from the links provided. i extracted the files to folders on my desktop then added the CONTENTS of those folders too my mincraft.jar with Winrar – mincraft launches, says “updating minecraft” under that it says “done loading” the bar underneath is frozen at 95%.

can’t you add a “spare upgrade” as a upgrade that does so it uses less energy? it would be cool.

2. I instaled the modloaderMP
3. I instaled zhe minecraft FORGE
4. I put Ic2 in zhe mods file
5. I started the Minecraft and I got a black screen !?

Hey dominik, u need to delete META-INF from the bin, it basicly stops mods from woking, but its safe to delete, anyway i have my onw question.
on my other user when i start minecraft it comes up with Failure launch (4) connect not permited or” or something like that, and if i do force update ut doesnt work, i have deleted minecraft and re installed it, this still doesnt work, and i cant actually play minecraft. please write back to me and i will thank you muchly for any advice u give me, and btw, where is the download link for this mod? i cant find it and when i ckilck on a link it comes up with vivid download stuff. i do nit need that bothering me, please write back,

when I put in the industrial craft mod into the mods folder, minecraft pulls a black screen after the Mojang logo. When I pull the mod out, the minecraft loads up fine. Any idea on what might have gone wrong?

if you have other mods installed delete the other mods. if that doesn’t work try to force update then reinstall forge and make sure to delete META-INF in minecraft.jar. then startup minecraft to create the mods,config,and lib folders. close minecraft and put the mod in the mods folder.Hope that helps!
Ok… i did this:
1. installed a fresh minecraft
2. installed modloader (3.0.71.289)
3. installed forge (4.0.0.200)
4. deleted meta-inf dir in minecraft.jar
5. started minecraft (to create the mod dir). All starts fine, can choose a mod. There is none tot choose for this is a fresh install
6. dropped the industrialmod (industrialcraft-2_1.106) in the mod dir
7. started minecraft and get a black screen!
I did not put the api dir anywhere. Should i have done that or did i do something else wrong??

I was playing a single player world when I noticed that a took good deals of damage even from minor things like creeper explosions when I took 2 full hearts. Is this spost to happen or is ic2 interfering with some other mod?
Okay, I’ve done everything that this and many other websites told me to do and I’ve gotten success except when I put the IndustrialCraft mod into the “mods” folder. MineCraft keeps crashing when it’s in there. Is there any explanation on way that happens?
